Brrrrrrrr

This is the view out my back door.  I ventured a total of 2 feet to take this photo.  It is 7 degrees right now and I am staying hunkered down at home along with most of the country.  This is a perfect quilting and baking day!

In honor of such a cold February day I am going to give-a-way one of my "Snowday Sewday" patterns.  Comment how cold it is where you are to enter.  We will announce next Monday Feb. 10th the winner.

Stay warm!  Amy

  1. It's 61 here in sunny San Diego (I understand if you want to smother me with a quilt right now…)

  3. Hi Amy - I wish I was in the cool. I live in Adelaide, Australia and it is currently around 100oF. The thought of being able to sew up some snowmen might be what I need to feel cool. :) Jo

  4. Currently 55˚ F here in San Diego. Daytime temps have been in the 60's. We sometimes feel guilty but we pay for this gorgeous weather. Need rain though.

  7. I live in Stratford, Ontario Canada, and this morning the temperature is minus 14C with the wind chill making it feel like minus 20C. In our front garden almost five feet of snow has fallen, and on Sunday, the ground hog predicted six more weeks of this. Despite the cold and snow, alll is not doom and gloom because now I get to spend lots more time with my sewing machine.

  8. Here in the middle of Texas it's currently 18 degrees with a wind chill factor making it feel much colder. We are even having snow flurries. Times like these that I miss living in Hawaii (although they have snow on the mountains too!).
