Quilt Diva Giveaway!!!!!

Yea! I am doing my first giveaway on my blog, this is the best part of blogging! I love it! So, my giveaways are three Quilt Diva prize packs which each include a Quilt Diva fat quarter stack, a Quilt Diva pattern, a pack of Quilt Diva notecards, and a magnetic Quilt Diva notepad. To enter, simply post a comment to this entry and tell me either why you are a Quilt Diva (for example, you have made quilts for all of your 37 grandchildren) or an idea that you would like to see me design (for example, monkeys playing guitars). I will pick three comments at random and will announce the winners on Friday June 19th so be sure to check back then to see if you have won!

  1. Amy, I just love all your patterns and have made several of them. As a long time quilter, Amy Bradley designs are something I cannot do without!!! Keep up the good work!
Have you done a 'pets on parade' type design ????

  2. I love your designs Amy, especially the dogs! I would like to see some bird patterns, like a whole sampler of cheerful backyard birds. Add a cat with a gleam in his eye and that would be really fun.

    Thanks for sharing your talent!

  3. I love your designs especially the dogs. I am a grandma who babysits my 4 year old granddaughter who wants to be a vet.
    How about grandma dogs.

  4. Am I a Diva? I don't have 37 grandchildren, only like dogs and have a stash that is completely out of control. I could care less about house cleaning, love to look at patterns and have three sewing machines, a serger and a Mega Qulter. If I'm not one, I think I'm well on my way. Keep up the good work. You bring a smile to any day: good, bad or so-so.

  5. Amy, I want to make your Dazzling Dogs quilt as a BOM next year. I plan to leave one dog out and put Sarge in the center!!!! Won't that be cute! I have a bunch of your other patterns too that I'm going to make for my sewing room someday! I wish I could make them all! Thanks for such great and fun patterns!

I am working on your Seasoned Quilter and having lots of fun making it. I think I am a Quilt diva because I have made 3 quilts, 3 baby blankets, 1 baby quilt, 8 sets of pillows, and I have 4 porjects going now. I have only been a quilter since October 2007.

  8. Hi Amy,
Love you Blog. I have made several of your designs (even took a class from you a while back). I love elephants, how about some fun elephants with a different hat of every month. Don't ask me why hats, I just think it would be fun and cute.

  9. I am currently running a block of the month at Tiny Stitches in Marietta, GA using your dog patterns. We are on Prissy now with only one more month to go. We have 28 people making the dog quilt.

Also, I just noticed that my sister Robin commented just before me. I didn't know she loves elephants - how can that be?

I would like to see sock monkeys on a quilt. I would make it right away.

  10. Amy, I love you quilt patterns. I have Snugly Bugly and Ballerina Kitties ready and waiting to make for my 5 grandchildren, Ava 2 1/2, Noah 2, Jack 1 and Eden and Chloe both 3 months. It would be great to make a Quilting Diva for myslef.

  11. I am a Quilt Diva because I have been quilting for over 20 years and I do my own machine quilting, hand piecing, hand quilting, red work, aopplique, you name it, I try it!

  13. Love your patterns (I have the Dazzling Dog patterns)! I would love to see zoo animals like lion, tiger, monkey, giraffe, hippo, etc.

  14. This is my second suggestion: how about dogs who are Vets and are treating other animals - birds, horses, etc.

  15. Love your patterns, but I haven't made one yet. I saw you when you visited Enid, Oklahoma earlier this year. I have more quilts than I know what to do with - in 2007 I gave one to each of my co-workers and still had plenty left. One of these days I'll have grandchildren to quilt for!!

  16. Amy,
I love youe work and have also done several of your projects! I am an animal fanatic, also! We have a farm with horses and pigmy fainting goats! I think you could make an adorable quilt or wall hanging with the horses and small fainting goats!!! haha We have had some hysterical things happen, especially when we take the dogs out with us!! I also have grandchildren, and I think a quilt of "children of the world" would be great! Thanks, Sheilah

  18. My 2 sisters and I love to quilt-long distance.  Sister Paula lives in WI and sister Jackie lives in TN.  We send pictures back and forth.  I love seeing all the things they do.  I made the dog quilt, Dazzling Dogs, I believe.  Great fun!  I traded a friend that quilt for 2 antique butterfly quilts.  Who got the better deal???

  19. Hi, some years ago my husband gave my 2 friends and I the name of the "Sew Whats". We would get together once a week and sew and sometimes more laughter than sewing. We happened to see your Bugs quilt at a shop and we were in love. We decided to make the quilt and donate it to WAGS of Wisconsin for their annual raffle. All proceeds were to go to a child who needed a service dog. My friend Linda did all the cutting and ironing, while my field Carol and I did all the sewing. We took it to a local long arm quilter who quilted it for half price as we were donating it. We all felt that we were "Diva's" for completing the quilt. The ironic thing is a friend of Carol's won the raffle and gave it back to Carol. It came full circle and a child got a service dog. I now live in Georgia and return to Wisconsin in June to visit, hit the quilt stores and just laugh as the Sew Whats are back together. Your designs have inspired us and I hope to get the dogs done one of these days and donate it to another worthy cause. Crys Mongiat

  22. Amy, your designs are just awesome! I can't wait to see more! I started quilting over 15 years ago. I got my mom started in quilting and we both now share a long arm. We love it! So I guess that makes us a diva pair!

  23. I love your designs Amy! I'd like to see some designs with a few crows in it! Holly

  24. I love mice - I haven't found too many fabrics with cute mice in them.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Love your designs. I have most of them. Just finished the dogs. Made a 'cowboy' quilt using the snips and snails patterns. The little 'cowboy' loved it. Would love to have the quilt diva hanging on my sewing room wall. Like some of the other comments I would love to see some zoo animal patterns and maybe more diva designs. Keep up the good work.

  26. I am a quilt diva because I have made quilts for 2 1/2 of my 8 grandkids. The 1/2 quilt is neatly folded up in a box...somewhere, pieced and partially quilted. I promised that I would finish her quilt before she went off to college. I may be in trouble--she will be a junior in high school this fall!

Please, I'm begging you, as a favor to readers everywhere, design something with books, bookworms, readers, bookshelves, anything. I don't mean Dick and Jane, although those are nice, and no ABC's, although those are nice too.

I like to make things for my BookCrossing.com friends, and doorprizes for the conventions, and there are no, nada, zilch, zero reading/book related fabrics to be found!

    Please. I'm begging you!!

  27. Hi from Australia - I think I am a quilt diva because I sing when I sew and quilt - my kids close my sewing room door (hey, I'm not complaining that much, I DO have my own room - which they are envious of by the way). They always say my music is "too loud" - that's a change, isn't it???

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, I don't know that I'm a quilt diva as I just started recently, but I sure am enjoying it! Fabric has become my new obsession.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Love your patterns. I looooooooooooove fabric! Haven't made one yet though. Would love to make one for my mother so she'd feel closer to me as I moved half way across Canada and she still misses me like crazy.

If I manage to make one for my mom, I think I'd love to make one of pigs as that's her Zodiac sign!

  37. I have not reached quilt diva status, yet. I am a virgin quilter. lol

  38. I am a quilt diva because of my mother! Several Christmases ago, I opened a present from Mom and thought - "finally, she made me a quilt!!" Oh no, my mother had bought me fabric and signed me up for a quilt shops BOM so that I could MAKE MY OWN quilt. Sneaky lady!! Now, I am hooked! It turned out to be a pretty darn good gift! Elizabeth

  39. Cute!

I'm not sure if I qualify as a diva. I couldn't possibly quilt enough to make myself happy, so I instead teach others to quilt so they can help!

  40. I am a quilt diva because I'll always try soemthing new once, if it works then I'll do it again. I machine piece, machine quilt all my own quilts. I also enjoy embroidery and applique. Terrific giveaway, thanks for the chance.

  42. I'm not a quilting diva, I have only the tiniest of sewing machines and am only just learning to sew, though I did make a tiny little quilt for my son's favourite stuffed animal. I jsut wanted to say you have a lovely blog and lovely designs.. I would suggest a future pattern to be something to do with birds and trees.. maybe a few little owls but I do have a thing for owls anyway. Have a lovely day.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I would love to be a quilt diva because I love making quilt tops...but get to the quilting stage and seem to come to a stop...so I would love to see you design a hooty, cooty owl quilt. I have a fettish for owls lately...and coot hooty whimsical owl would be great...hugs Khris in Oz

  51. I'd like to enter for my mom - she's a quilting diva because she only has two grandchildren (so far), and yet she's already made 7 quilts for them... My niece and nephew have a favorite already, though, and they love to lay it out on the carpet, stack all the living room pillows on top, and roll around like kittens with cat-nip. Hilarious.

  52. I'm a truely mental quilt diva! I made fifty two quilts for all the kids at my daughters kinder, I was only going to make two....but you know how it is..... I just couldn't stop!

  54. All I can say is I will have to live to be 242 years old to finish all the projects I want to do. Now you have added about 10 more to that number. Love your designs and patterns. Love to see more "Ladies" patterns. Barbara Angles @bo19422001@yahoo.com

  55. How about a vintage travel-inspired line? You could use things like monuments and old stamps for inspiration.

  56. (my first "blog" ever...) Your Peek-a-boo book recently inspired my first machine applique quilt. You (or your team) even helped me locate skin-tone fabric (thank you!!!). I can't wait to make your adorable halloween quilt. I have a really easy suggestion - I would love to see your "barnyard buddies" logo in a quilt pattern. When I first saw the logo, I searched your website for a matching bunny quilt! Thank you again for your inspiring patterns.

  57. I WANT to be a quilt diva. So far, since December when I bought the Janome 6500, finished one queen and one king size quilt. Waiting for binding one queen size. Ongoing quilting for one queen size. That is a feat within six months when years back, took me six years to complete one hand quilted queen size and eternity for my own handquilted quilt (yet to be finished but using it for my bed cover anyway).

  58. Okay, seeing as I'm definitely NOT a quilt diva, here's my design suggestion instead. My kids love insects such as ladybirds, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, etc. So how about a design with cartoon versions of insects which could be used for a child's quilt?

Luckily I have a mom with a longarm machine that gets the pleasure of finishing my quilts... she loves it though and wouldn't have it any other way. As for design ideas... My 4 year old daughter is a bird every year for halloween, so I think something with flamingos, peacocks, parrots, and the like would be fun!

I love your designs! I would love to see some cute goggly eyed frogs! I currently have your Halloween & Bountiful Beauties quilt started, but I just started a mystery quilt for quilt guild so they may have to wait. I think I need to hire someone to finish all of my unfinished projects or better yet I wish someone would go to work for me & clean house so I could stay home and play!

Why am I a quilt diva? I recently took the center out of a quilt (a couldn't of made a mistake! There must be quilt gremlins out there.)and repaired it without removing the borders. I can't believe I didn't notice until I had it finished. It turned out great if I do say so myself.

  79. I have been sewing and quilting for years. I have a dozen grandkids, who love me sewing and quilting for them. They like to visit me in the sewing room. It is so crazy, they are running around with spools of thread, tape measure, scissor, & anything else they can find wanting to sew. I would like to see a quilt of a crazy grandmother with her grandkids running around her with sewing supplies.

I'd love to see a pattern of fish blowing bubble gum. Maybe they can be sitting in a "school" with a teacher in the front of the classroom.
