Madamme Samm http://www.sewwequilt.com did a blog where she put together my Quilt Diva pattern. She did a spectacular job! I love all the little flourishes that she added. She even added fake eyelashes. I think this was a first! She is so color coordinated in her red, white and black. She has fur on her slippers, thimble earrings, pearl necklace.....a regular DIVA!!! She is so much more sophisticated then my original diva. I just love it!
She didn't even keep it after all the hours that she put in it. She sold it to a special lady to make money to help buy a sewing machine for another special lady. I just love generous people that give of their time and talents to help others! Way to go Madamme Samm!!!!!
Becky Church sent me some photos below of the quilts she has made from my patterns. I love that she put the one black cat in the quilt. So creative! I think she had fun picking out all the bright swimsuits for the penguins because it shows.

Chris Wells sent me a photo of a discontinued pattern but I had to show it because I just love show and tell. Sorry this pattern is no longer available.
Courtney White and her grandma had so much fun making up their Quilt Diva together below. Love the red hair!
Destounis Xplornet made this version of my Animal Whimsy pattern for her 93 year old father. He loved to take care of all the animals on his farm.
I hope you are all getting your flowers and gardens planted. I get so excited about planting until August and then my spring fever is fading like my flowers.
Thank you for sending me your photos. It just makes my day!!!!!! Amy

John and I were invited guests of John's brother Kent and his wife Patti to go to the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting in Omaha this last weekend. We have always wanted to hear Warren Buffet speak and we definitely were not disappointed. He and vice chairman Charlie Munger answered questions for about 5 hours. It was so interesting and entertaining.
There were only about 35,000 others attending! There were TV screens everywhere so we all had a good seat.
You could take a break from the meeting and go check out company booths that Berkshire Hathaway owns. The Burlington Northern booth had a great model train set going.
I enjoyed checking out the See's Candy Booth! At the Fruit of the Loom booth you could buy boxers or a tie with Warren Buffets face on them. You could also take a photo with the fruit guys.
Everyone was walking around with Dilly Bars because they own Dairy Queen too.
We drove by Warren Buffets home. It is a beautiful home but very modest for the fourth wealthiest man in the world. Only 24 people work in the office building that runs Berkshire Hathaway. They own all these diverse companies but they let the companies run themselves.
There are A shares and B shares to the company. Today the A shares were selling for $164,690.00. The B shares were selling for $190.00. It made you wonder when you were walking by all these people ...... which one of you owns the A shares???? Amazing!

My two new sweet grandbabies Nate and Norah are keeping us busy. My daughter Ashley (the mom) is super busy and very sleep deprived. We are Amy Bradley Designs so this is a fun addition to our business plan. When their older sister Rowan came along we adapted easily. We run a pretty easy going business. Change a diaper, send out orders, feed the babies, respond to emails, change more diapers and more and more diapers....lots of diaper changing.....
In honor of the TWO new babies we are giving you 20% off orders from our website http://www.amybradleydesigns.com until the end of the month 5/31/13. Use promo code "twins" when checking out to receive the 20% discount.
Rowan the big sister has actually done more sewing than me in the last three weeks. She is working on a blanket. She told me she would probably start the sheets and pillow next. I love that she wants to sew!!!!!
