The winner of the Thanksgiving pattern is HP, thanks for your comments! HP, your email isn't listed, please email us with your mailing address so we can send you your free pattern!
Thanksgiving is almost here. Wasn't it just the Fourth of July?!! Where does the time go? Somehow in the next few days I have to do a lot of cooking and cleaning before the big day is here and I am not even hosting. I just do a lot of helping in the festivities and I will have some family staying here. If it was actually here I would be in full fledged panic mode. Yikes that would be a lot of work for a Martha Stewart want-to-be who usually settles for Roseanne Barr of "Roseanne"! I do love to bake like Martha though. This time I baked like "the girl who ate everything."

These muffins were delicious and great for fall.
Tip for the week: Some of our patterns have large folded sheets that have deep creases in them.
To get these deep creases out simply turn them over on your a ironing surface and iron the back side of the pattern on a medium heat.
Your pattern is now ready. Start that tracing and most importantly have fun!
Mention your favorite Thanksgiving dish for a chance to win a free "Thanksgiving" little quilt pattern above. My mom used this pattern and made me a Thanksgiving apron. It is so cute!
Have a great week! Amy

Fabric Addict Doll Pattern Give-a-way
Kathey sent me this photo of the "Fabric Addict" doll that she made from a kit we sold. (We are now out of these kits...sorry...but still have patterns!) We were thrilled when we get photos of finished projects. She had so much fun making this one that she made some friends.
Her husband Paul even enjoyed seeing each doll come to life. She has had fun giving some of these dolls to her friends and nearby quilt shops.
This is from a different customer of ours that sent us a photo of how they look with out their clothes on. What a beauty! Its the hot pink underwear!
Kathey also sent us a photo of the quilt that she made using the "Quilt Diva". It was her very first applique project.
Debbie sent us a photo of her version of the "Halloween Quilt". She and her friend Patti each made six blocks twice, so that they could exchange blocks with each other. I love how Debbie hung her bat upside down. Why didn't I think of that!!!!!
My husband John and I just came back from Phoenix where our son Adam and his wife Megan now live. We got to see their new house and meet their new puppy "Harper Barbara". We visited the Phoenix Zoo where the above photo was taken. No animals were harmed in the taking of this photo!
We ate at the Saddle Ranch Chop House restaurant. When we arrived the waiters were carrying these vases of cotton candy to tables. We were excited thinking ....maybe instead of bread we get cotton candy. It was a appetizer selection and everyone was getting one at their table.
